The Drake Hotel Restaurant
The Drake isn't just a funky hotel and place to party, it also has a great restaurant. Be sure to keep it in mind when choosing a place to eat on Queen West. With dishes like house smoked bbq ribs, spaghetti & meatballs and sexy simmered beef brisket, it's always a struggle to choose what to get. My advice, order a bunch of starters and sides to share. There's pork and beef sliders, roast beet root salad, fried atlantic calamari, mac 'n' cheese croquettes (even though I love croquettes, I preferred the side order of the regular mac 'n' cheese), smoked brisket poutine and for the sushi lover - lots to choose from. On top of his fun menu chef Anthony Rose also created nightly specials. Like say you go on a thursday, you can get chicken or steak and chocolate cake for two for $37.95. Order the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and you wont be let down.

A treat from Anthony not on the menu - smoked trout pancake. So good!
Don't forget they also serve breakfast and brunch!
